The pouring Sunday evening didn’t prove to be a deterrent in the inauguration of an Art Exhibition of the artist Bhoishali Sinha Massot. The exhibition was a tribute to the renowned artist M.F Hussian. The chief guest of the evening was (Conseiller Ambassade de Cote d’ Ivoire en Inde) Counselor of Ivory Coast in India- Mr. O.P Rolland Mahi.
Bhoishali crafted an installation in the shape of a paint brush called “My Religion”, which had all the religions inscribed on it. Also present at the exhibition was his son Samshsad Hussain, who was overwhelmed with joy and had tears in his eyes remembering his father. On this Bhoishali rues “it is a tribute to the artist who cannot live in his own country and to oppose this fact I did the installation. It’s a brush with different religion with all due respect; it says that my religion is ART.”
And for the Cricket lovers, Bhoishali also painted the ‘World Cup’ inspired by the current world cup fever which depicts the waves of cricket playing nations and India grabbing the world cup as a tiger wave
